In electric football, the game is played on a metal field. Here, you will not actually be the player tossing the ball but you will be using plastic players placed on the metal field in formations looking like a real football set-up. You arrange your team in real football formations, call your own plays and much more. The ball used here is a football-shaped piece of foam with the size proportional to the sizes of the plastic players. When everything is in their proper places, a switch can be turned on which activates the small electric motor. The motion makes the field vibrate causing the players to move around the field just like real football. Each player in the game is attached to a base and they are set with prongs to allow their motion. You can spend a lot of time custom forming your player stands to make them run sweeps, straight, zig zags and more. The bases where rookies are situated are not adjustable and players can only run forward while pro bases have a dial that which you can turn to make the players turn to the left or right.
Electric Football Players Move Just Like Real
Just like in a real game, there is a quarterback. Here, the special player is called the Triple Threat Quarterback. This piece has the ability to pass, punt and kick field goals. You might ask, how does the plastic quarterback make all those kicks and passes? All those movements are allowed because of the slit in the ball. The slit lets the ball be placed on the triple threat quarterback’s arm. If you want to make a pass, just pull the arm back and release. For kicking, the ball is placed on the t-shirt of the TTQ and a plastic leg is tapped to kick the ball.
The game is made more exciting and realistic because of the great designs and additional products. The plastic players are sculpted carefully to look like a real football player and they are equipped with pads, raised ridges on the thigh pads, detailed hands and facemasks.
